Richard Mulvey is past President of the Professional Speakers Association of Southern Africa (2008-9), and a member of the Global Speakers Federation. Richard is also the Chairman of the committee that successfully bid for the Global Speakers Summit held in Cape Town in 2009.
Richard has written and Published 17 books on a variety of different sales and sales management issues. His most popular book “The Will to Win” together with “Selling Quality at your Higher Price” and “Body Language in Business” are all best sellers and he also has 22 DVDs as well as CDs and MP3s.
Apart from his successful corporate career, Richard has also worked for the Queen in Buckingham Palace in the UK, written and marketed a multi-restaurant accounting package called “Trade Inn”. Traveled overland in an old VW Kombi from London to South Africa and back again and climbed Kilimanjaro to raise R70,000 for Reach for a Dream.
Richard’s passion is to raise the standards of selling skills throughout the world. His latest book “The Power of Positive Selling” encapsulates the principles by which he has sold throughout his life and has become an excellent keynote of the same name.
